Elements of nature and the simplicity of all things awe inspiring goes into the creation of each ImaniRae Original design. I find inspiration in my fellow artists as well. Over the last year, prior to the launch of my site, I'd digest what others found relevant and intriguing. The concept of art imitating life is not foreign to anyone. Keeping that in mind we look to each other for inspiration and opinions on the direction on a piece or work.

Social media, websites, word of mouth, and finally print. In 2016, how important is print in the success of you thriving business? Investing in a flush layout book to leave with your local salon vs a prepaid ad with link connecting you to your site of interest? Digital Marketing is of course more a conveyance- however there is something to holding the collection in your hand. Too each their own? Absolutely not. Studies show that there is a system to success. Creating a brand that not only is capable of evolving, but caters to all (well, at least 90% of your target market) My Top 7:

1. Identify you audience- and what they look at. Research it.

2, Utilize Social Media in a strategic manner. LinkedIN for example limits the number of people you can connect with- so make those adds count!

4. Budget for effective Marketing: Emails, Ads, etc.

5. Time Management: Make a schedule and stick to it.

6. Word of Mouth: For marketing Advertising, Promotions, Networking. Reward others for referrals

7. Never underestimate the power of Free samples! Sales sell. If it's free its for me (and you also)

I could talk at length on this subject. I should have majored in Marketing! However one of the best tools I've found is talking with others and sharing ideas. What has worked for you? What would you do different knowing what you know now? Videos on YouTube, Free Webinars are the ideal jump off; and don't forget to take notes then share. Make use of your selling engines Amazon.com who also publishes your latest children's book or color book for adults (my to-do list), Shopify, Etsy,com. Set up two websites on Wix.com or Wordpress- no coding required.
